WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 4-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for Elevator Maintenance and Repair Services; and
WHEREAS, Invitations for bids were extended to nine vendors and sealed bids were received from five vendors on March 8, 2012.
WHEREAS, Great Lakes Elevator Service Inc., Park Ridge, IL is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in the estimated amount of $83,760. Other bids received ranged in the amount of $84,300 to $102.240.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to enter into a two-year contract with three one-year renewal options with Great Lakes Elevator Service, Inc., Park Ridge, IL for the purchase of elevator maintenance and repair services in the estimated annual amount of $83,760 charging to various Lake County accounts.
