RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, there is a need to enter into a contract with a successful vendor to provide collision repair services for Lake County; and
WHEREAS, the contractor shall perform repairs in accordance with the appraisals and specifications, including pick-up, delivery, for the percentage discount bid off said appraisals for labor and body parts; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 33.036 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, a bid was called for by publication for Collision Repair Services for the Lake County Division of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from four vendors at the Lake County Administrative Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on March 17, 2016; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the bid; the staff evaluated all bids submitted and determined that the bid submitted by Allanson Auto Body, Mundelein, Illinois, in the amount of $83,122 is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with Allanson Auto Body, for collision repair services in the estimated amount of $83,122, charged to Risk Dept. account #206-1440010-72180-000-000-000-00000.
