RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lake County Public Works is responsible for several sanitary sewer systems that includes Lift stations and Pump Stations; and
WHEREAS, there is a need for the supply of calcium nitrate (used for odor control), a storage and delivery system, as well as monitoring and testing of the chemical for the Quentin Road Pump Station; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for the purchase of Calcium Nitrate; and
WHEREAS, Evoqua Water Technologies, LLC, is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the amount of $139,320.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized and directed to execute a contract with Evoqua Water Technologies, LLC, of Sarasota, Florida, in the estimated annual amount of $139,320 for the Calcium Nitrate for the Department of Public Works.
