· Delany Road, Dilleys Road, and Kilbourne Road are in need of resurfacing.
· These resurfacing improvements have been identified within the County's pavement management system, and are included in the 2013 program.
· Before a project letting can be held, an appropriation of $5,325,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds, $295,000 of County Bridge Tax funds, and $120,000 of ¼% Sales Tax for Transportation and Public Safety funds is necessary.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Delany Road, County Highway 22, Dilleys Road, County Highway 15, and Kilbourne Road, County Highway 37, are designated routes on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Delany Road, from Wadsworth Road to Illinois Route 173, Dilleys Road, from Illinois Route 132 to Wadsworth Road, and Kilbourne Road, from Russell Road to the State Line, could be resurfaced; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications, and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed, and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $5,325,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds, $295,000 of County Bridge Tax funds and $120,000 of ¼% Sales Tax for Transportation and Public Safety funds for the resurfacing of Delany Road, from Wadsworth Road to Illinois Route 173, Dilleys Road, from Illinois Route 132 to Wadsworth Road, and Kilbourne Road, from Russell Road to the State Line, and designated as Section 12-00999-33-RS.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this appropriation be processed by the County Engineer for final approval of the Illinois Department of Transportation in accordance with the "Agreement of Understanding" between the Illinois Department of Transportation and Lake County, dated January 18, 2013.
