Staff Summary
• As part of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 Budget and in alignment with the Facilities Capital Improvement Plan, procurement of facilities capital construction project management software was authorized.
• A commercial project management software will enhance the efficiency and coordination of Lake County and its external partners in the delivery of facilities capital construction projects.
• In coordination with Lake County Enterprise Information Technology, Facilities and Construction Services, and Finance-Purchasing staff evaluated several project management software platforms and identified Procure as the preferred software solution.
• Finance-Purchasing identified a cooperative purchasing contract with Carahsoft Technology Corporation, Reston, Virginia through Omnia Partners Cooperative Agreement to procure the Procore software.
• The contract authorizes the Purchasing Agent to enter into a contract in the amount of $62,641.24 for year one and an estimated amount $55,000 for years two and three. The current term of the contract is through April 30, 2024.
• Pursuant to Article 33.115 Cooperative Joint Purchasing of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, Lake County may participate in a cooperative purchasing agreement with Omnia Partners.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, As part of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 Budget and in alignment with the Facilities Capital Improvement Plan, for the procurement of Procore, a commercial project management software, in the amount of $62,641.24; and
WHEREAS, A commercial project management software will enhance the efficiency and coordination of Lake County and its external partners in the delivery of facilities capital construction projects; and
WHEREAS, Lake County Enterprise Information Technology, Facilities and Construction Services, and Finance-Purchasing staff evaluated several project management software platforms and identified Procure as the preferred software solution; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Article 33.115 Cooperative Joint Purchasing of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, Lake County may participate in a cooperative purchasing agreement for the procurement of goods with one or more public procurement units in accordance with an agreement entered between the participants.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County,
Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter a contract with Carahsoft Technology Corporation, Reston, Virginia for construction project management software in the amount of $62,641.24 for year one and an estimated amount $55,000 for years two and three.
