• JOC is a competitively bid, fixed price, indefinite quantity contract; work includes a collection of tasks and related specifications that have pre-established unit prices that are included in the Construction Task Catalog (CTC) developed for the County.
• An Invitation to Bid was extended to 38 vendors.
• The bid identified that the contract may be awarded to three vendors and requested contractors submit adjustment factors to be applied to the CTC.
• Sealed bids were received from 1 local vendor and 14 nonlocal vendors with combined adjustment factors ranging from 0.7664 to 1.5900.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 33.036 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for Job Order General Contractors; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, and Invitation to Bid was extended to 38 vendors; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from 1 local vendor and 14 nonlocal vendors and opened via Zoom by the Lake County Purchasing Division, on October 19, 2023 at 11:00 A.M.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the Invitation to Bid; the staff evaluated all bid submittals and determined that the bids submitted by McDonagh Demolition Company, AGAE Contractors, Inc. and Leopardo Companies, Inc. are the lowest responsive and responsible bidders for Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a one-year contract with renewals for Job Order Contracting General Contractor Services with McDonagh Demolition Company, Inc. of Chicago, Illinois bidding a combined adjustment factor of 0.7785 in the estimated amount not-to-exceed $2,000,000 charging the costs to various Lake County accounts, AGAE Contractors, Inc. of Elk Grove, Illinois bidding a combined adjustment factor of 0.7664 in the estimated amount not-to-exceed $2,000,0000 and Leopardo Companies, Inc. of Hoffman Estates, Illinois bidding a combined adjustment factor of 0.7769 in the estimated amount not-to-exceed $2,000,000.
