RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the property at 18954 Roosevelt Road, Lake Villa, Illinois, was a County Clerk Greenbook COLT (County of Lake, as Trustee) property, acquired due to delinquent taxes and was deemed uninhabitable and unsafe; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 33.067 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, the Director of Facilities and Construction Services certified an emergency condition necessitating the need to demolish the structures, remove and abate any hazardous waste, and level the ground to make the property safe; and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Agent issued a purchase order to McDonagh Demolition, of Chicago, Illinois, in the amount of $53,800.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois that the Emergency Procurement is authorized by the Director of Facilities and Construction Services for the demolition in the amount of $53,800 is ratified.
