RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County Department of Public Works owns, operates, and maintains numerous water systems throughout the County including the Highland Lake Water System; and
WHEREAS, this water system is served by the Gerwal Well House, which is in need of structural, electrical, and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system upgrades in order to continue to provide reliable services; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication of the Highland Lake Water System Improvements-Gerwal Well House project; and
WHEREAS, Boller Construction Company Inc., is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the amount of $538,600 for the Base Bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract with Boller Construction Company Inc., of Waukegan, Illinois in the amount of $538,600 for the Highland Lake Water System Improvements project, for the Base Bid.
