Lake County Forest Preserve District (LCFPD) Contract Increase, $5,000 - Mackey

LCHD received an increase in the amount of $5,000 to it’s existing contract with the LCFPD for the Lake Water Quality/Nutrient Reduction Project. The contract period is December 1, 2019 - November 30, 2021. LCHD is requesting that these additional funds be appropriated to purchase necessary equipment. The contract will fund LCHD’s participation in the removal of carp to reduce nutrient enrichment in Slough, Crooked, Hastings, and McDonald Woods #1 lakes.
