R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for the resurfacing of Hainesville Road, from Illinois Route 120 to Washington Street, which will be improved under the Illinois Highway Code for a total of .75 miles; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on October 15, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois, a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works, Planning and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and the lowest responsible bidder is Peter Baker and Son Company, Lake Bluff, Illinois, their bid being $572,700 based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is required.
