Animal Control ICOPS Contract Renewal - Johnson

The Lake County Board of Health, Lake County and the Illinois Council of Police are parties to a collective bargaining agreement that covers certain employees of Animal Care and Control employed within Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCDC/CHC). The parties recently bargained a new collective bargaining agreement covering these employees that will become effective on December 1, 2025, and continue through November 30, 2029. Representatives of Lake County and LCHD/CHC Human Resources on behalf of the Employers and an ICOPS representative on behalf of the Union participated in the negotiations for a new collective bargaining agreement. The Union and employees have already ratified the agreement. See redline document for agreement upon substantive changes. A clean copy is also provided for signature. The new contract will take effect on December 1, 2025, after it is also approved by the Lake County Board.
