Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center received an increase in grant funding through the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, for the Child and Adolescent Behavioral Services, Intensive Placement Stabilization program in the amount of $7,083. The period of performance is from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. $2,951 will be appropriated in LCFY25, and the difference was accounted for in the LCFY26 budget. The purpose of this funding is to provide short-term, individualized support to help children and youth in foster care maintain stable placements and prevent disruptions during times of transition or crisis. This will offset existing staff salary and fringe benefits.

To approve the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, Child and Adolescent Behavioral Services, Intensive Placement Stabilization additional grant funding of $7,083 and emergency appropriate $2,951 for FY25.
