Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center received an increase in grant funding through the Illinois Department of Public Health for the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program in the amount of $6,148. The period of performance is from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. The purpose of the funding is to assess, prioritize, build, and exercise the resources and functions to prevent, mitigate, and recover from key public health hazards by strengthening critical capabilities and addressing identified gaps. This will fund operational supplies.
