iGrow – Steans Family Foundation, $25,000 – Grant Increase Approval – Kritz

Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center received a $25,000 increase in grant funding from the Steans Family Foundation for the iGrow program. The period of performance is from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. The funds will be utilized to continue to develop and expand a coordinated resource system for families, which includes education, outreach, and home visiting services for expectant parents and families with new babies and young children up to age five. This will continue to fund temporary employment staff that perform community outreach.
Suggested Motion
To approve the Steans Family Foundation iGrow additional grant funding and emergency appropriate $25,000 for FY25.
