Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center received a $311,571.66 increase in grant funding from the Illinois Department of Human Services for the Child and Family Connections program. The period of performance is from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. $129,822 will be appropriated in LCFY25, and the difference was accounted for in the LCFY26 budget. The purpose of the funding is to support family-centered early intervention services that build caregiver capacity and promote children’s optimal development through collaborative and individualized supports. This will offset existing staff salary and fringe benefits.

To approve the Illinois Department of Human Services, Child and Family Connections additional grant funding of $311,571.66 and emergency appropriate $129,822 for FY25.
