Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) has a need to enter into an agreement with a contractor for water main replacement and parking lot improvements.
A legal notice was published in the Lake County News-Sun on July 9, 2025, and the bid document was posted to the Lake County Purchasing website.
An invitation to bid was issued and (29) twenty-nine vendors registered. Sealed bids were received from (3) three contractors on July 31, 2025, in amounts ranging from $641,159 to $774,500.
DK Contractors Inc. of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin was determined to be the lowest responsive and responsible bidder who best meets the needs of LCHD/CHC in the amount of $641,159.
Suggested Motion
To approve the award of a contract with DK Contractors Inc. of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, in the amount of $641,159 for the Water System and Parking lot improvements, and to authorize the Executive Director or designee to execute the necessary documents.
