Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center received an increase in grant funding through the Illinois Department of Public Health, Comprehensive Health Protection grant in the amount of $96,849. The period of performance is from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. $40,355 will be appropriated in LCFY25 and the difference was accounted for in the LCFY26 budget. Most of the funds will be used to support existing staff salaries and fringe benefits, with a portion allocated toward contractual services and supplies.
