Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center received grant funds of $40,000 for the Women, Infants, and Children Navigator Project. The funding period is from June 8, 2025, to July 31, 2026. This project will focus on increasing Women, Infants, and Children recruitment and retention in Lake County through targeted outreach, strengthening partnerships with collaborating/referral agencies, community-based education, and enhanced client engagement. This will fund mileage reimbursement and offset existing staff salaries and fringe benefits.
