New Client Wait List
As of January 29, 2025, there are 1,973 individuals on our general medicine new client waitlist, 1,769 adults and 204 pediatrics. These individuals are looking to establish care in our following health centers:
• Belvidere Medical Building: 39%
• Grand: 19%
• Midlakes: 18%
• Zion: 13%
• North Shore: 8%
• North Chicago: 2%
• Libertyville: 1%
The total new client wait list has been increased by 36 individuals, 146 adults were added to the waitlist and 110 pediatrics were removed from the waitlist since the January 14, 2025, report to Governing Council. There are currently 40 new patient appointment slots/week.

North Chicago Health Center (NCHC) reconstruction update
ServPro, our insurance company damage, remediation and reconstruction vendor, received approval of the revised permit from the City of North Chicago in early January 2025. These revisions include changes to a new Point of Care Testing/Vaccine Storage Room, Phlebotomy Suite, Front Office/Intake area, Sterilization Room, revised Dental Operatories and Team Room.
Reconstruction work continues according to schedule.
