Staff Summary
• Funding for the intergovernmental agreement is included in Grant Agreement No. 24-413046 between Lake County and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) that was executed December 15, 2024.
• These projects were authorized by SMC for inclusion in DCEO-STOCIP Regional Stormwater Infrastructure Project Round 2 on September 5, 2024.
• The intergovernmental agreement will provide funding, on a reimbursement basis, to the Village of Buffalo Grove in amounts not-to-exceed $2,750,000.00 for the Northwood Subdivision Stormwater Improvements Project-Phase 1 and not-to-exceed $2,750,000.00 for the Horatio Gardens Drainage Improvement Project.
• The Village of Buffalo Grove will pay a Project Expense Match to SMC of $364,031.25 for administrative and engineering expenses related to the projects.
