Resolution approving an agreement with Logicalis Inc. of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, for the procurement and installation of Information Technology (IT) Network hardware for the Regional Operations & Communications (ROC) Facility in the estimated amount of $457,246.47.
Staff Summary
* As part of the Modified Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 Budget and in alignment with the Facilities Capital Improvement Plan, design of a new Consolidated 911, Emergency Management Agency (EMA), and Emergency Telephone Systems Board (ETSB) Facility was authorized.
* In collaboration with project stakeholders, Lake County developed an IT network design to identify and segment elements of County infrastructure from partner agency infrastructure currently planned for the ROC Facility.
* This resolution provides for Lake County IT network elements including servers, switches, wireless access points, programming, and installation.
* Pursuant to Chapter 33.115 Cooperative Joint Purchasing Authorized, the County may either participate in, sponsor, conduct or administer a cooperative purchasing agreement for the procurement of goods, services, constructions, or professional services with one or more public procurement units in accordance with an agreement between those units to do so.
* A cooperative purchasing contract with Logicalis, Inc. has been identified through the 1 GPA Contract #22-02PV-12 to procure needed goods, services, or professional services that have been competitively solicited and awarded.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, there is a need to install Lake County Network presence within the ROC Facility; and
WHEREAS, Lake County has utilized Logicalis Inc for network installation and upgrades at various County facilities across the last few years; and
