New Client Wait List
As of February 1, 2024, there were 4,435 individuals on our general medicine new client waitlist, 3,775 adults and 660 pediatrics. These individuals are looking to establish care in our following health centers:
• Belvidere Medical Building: 31%
• Midlakes: 22%
• Zion: 14%
• Grand: 14%
• North Chicago: 10%
• North Shore: 6%
• Libertyville: 3%
The new client wait list has been reduced by 417 individuals since the January report to the Governing Council. There are 0 pediatric clients on the wait list at Midlakes.
Staffing Update
Open positions:
• Health Center Clerk: 2
• Health Center Medical Assistant: 1
• RN Manager: 1
• APRN/MD/DO: 3
• Dental Hygienist: 1
• FQHC Therapist: 3 (out of 7)
• FQHC Psychiatrist: 2 (PT)
• Dietitians: 3
Dental Update
Delta Dental Grant: LCHD/CHC submitted a budget revision to Delta Dental along with a request for a 3-month extension to March 31, 2024, for the current grant. Delta Dental approved both and LCHD/CHC will now be using the remaining grant funds for the purchase of dental instruments. With the purchase of the dental instruments, this grant will be closed.
