Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center received an increase in grant funding through the HIV Prevention program in the amount of $37,423. The period of performance is from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024. The purpose of the funding is to serve as the Region 7 HIV Prevention agency to provide HIV services and education to Illinois residents at the highest risk of transmitting or acquiring HIV disease. This will fund contractual staff for Peer Outreach and offset existing staff salary and fringe.

To approve the Illinois Department of Public Health HIV Prevention grant funds and emergency appropriate $37,423 for LCFY24.
