Title: Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District

Purpose/Function: The fire district is responsible for overseeing the administration and management of the fire protection district as specified by 70 ILCS 705.

Term of members/trustees: Three years; Expires first Monday in May.

Composition: Three voting members who live in Barrington Township (Cook County) shall be selected from nominations submitted to Board of Trustees of Barrington Township. Two voting members, who reside in Lake County shall be selected from nominations submitted to Board of Trustees of Lake County. Lake County Trustees shall be approved by the Lake County Board members. Appointments from Barrington Township (Cook County) shall be approved by the board members of Barrington Township.
