R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Quentin Road, County Highway 5, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, to ensure the free flow of traffic and the safety and welfare of the motoring public, Lake County is desirous of improving Quentin Road, from White Pine Road to Illinois Route 22, by widening and reconstruction; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Lake Zurich owns a watermain within the project limits requiring relocation; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Lake Zurich desires that the County include, as part of the improvement, the construction of a sidewalk and installation of decorative landscape; and
WHEREAS, Lake County and the Village of Lake Zurich are desirous of entering into an agreement stating the terms and conditions for the relocation of a watermain, construction of a sidewalk and installation of decorative landscape, a draft copy of which is attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that the County Board Chair, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County, Illinois, are authorized, and are hereby directed to enter into an agreement a...
