R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Old McHenry Road, County Highway 32, is a designated route on the County highway system; and

WHEREAS, it would be beneficial for the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Old McHenry Road at Illinois Route 12 could be reconstructed; and

WHEREAS, it is advisable that a consultant engineering firm be employed to provide said Phase II design engineering services; and

WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, has selected a professional engineering services firm in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act (50 ILCS 510/1 et. seq.); and

WHEREAS, Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Rosemont, Illinois, are consulting engineers skilled in the provision of said Phase II design engineering services; and

WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is required.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Rosemont, Illinois, be employed to provide said Phase II design engineering services, and that the County Board Chair, the County Clerk and the County Engineer of Lake County are authorized, and they are directed to e...
