                     The Loon Lake SSA, established by the County in 1990, provides funds to pay the cost of lake maintenance and restoration.

                     The levy ordinance for this SSA (Loon Lake) is required to be adopted annually.

ORDINANCE

 

WHEREAS, a levy ordinance for Special Service Area Number Eight was approved by the Lake County Board on September 18, 1990; and

 

WHEREAS, said Ordinance stated that a levy sufficient to pay the cost of lake maintenance and restoration for Special Service Area Number Eight shall be made each year thereafter.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that there be and there is levied upon all the taxable property in said Special Service Area Number Eight, in addition to all other taxes, a direct tax of $50,000 for tax year 2017.
