R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Fremont Center Road, County Highway 62, and Gilmer Road, County Highway 26, are designated routes on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Fremont Center Road, from Erhart Road to Gilmer Road, and Gilmer Road, from Illinois Route 176 to Hawley Street, could be resurfaced; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $3,000,000 of Matching Tax funds for the resurfacing of Fremont Center Road, from Erhart Road to Gilmer Road, and the resurfacing of Gilmer Road, from Illinois Route 176 to Hawley Street, and designated as Section 14-00138-03-RS.
