RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Candace Aisha May resigned from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Merit Commission, effective November 28, 2023; and

WHEREAS, the resignation of Candace Aisha May creates a vacancy on the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Merit Commission; and

WHEREAS, your Chair requests that this County Board confirm the appointment of Deborah Whitby Spencer as a member of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Merit Commission for a term beginning immediately and ending on December 14, 2029.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the appointment of Deborah Whitby Spencer as a member of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Merit Commission for a term beginning immediately and ending on December 14, 2029, be, and the same is hereby confirmed.
